You cannot go anywhere on the internet without facing some kind of bot; whether newer ChatGPT powered ad revenue generators on Reddit, or T-Shirt bots on x.com

One of the projects of rabbitea.rs is to have every member be verifiably human; we've taken preliminary steps towards this in a few ways. Since captchas are now solvable by computer, we use proof-of-work algorithims to simply throttle potential bot behaviour without punishing the end user.

Additionally, we have the vouch system - users can vouch for each others humanity, which when four users do as such, you'll be marked as verified. On rabbitea.rs, verification simply means your "verified human." It gives no other connetation.

What additional ways would you try and verify someones humanity?
